Therapies That Actually Work
CBT and DBT are the foundation of our clinical programming — helping teens identify harmful patterns, regulate emotions, and build real coping skills they’ll carry into life after treatment.
A Team That Understands Trauma
Our trauma-informed team uses EMDR and evidence-based approaches to help teens safely process their experiences and understand what’s driving their behavior — not just manage symptoms.
Support for Parents & Caregivers
Through family therapy sessions, parent education workshops, and regular communication with your teen’s clinical team, we make sure families are part of the process from day one.
Academics Built Into Treatment
Our on-site licensed Youth Academy means your teen keeps learning while they heal. The Academy offers accredited coursework, grade-level advancement, and mentorship.
24/7 Medical & Psychiatric Care
From psychiatric evaluation and detox support to eating disorder stabilization and self-harm intervention, our clinical team provides round-the-clock medical oversight for teens with complex needs.
Affirming Space for All Identities
Every teen who walks through our doors deserves to feel safe, seen, and respected. Silver State is an LGBTQ+ affirming program where clinical care is delivered without judgment.
Support That Doesn’t End at Discharge
Our case management team works with your family before discharge to build a concrete aftercare plan, connecting your teen with outpatient providers, school reintegration support, and community resources.
Psychiatric Medication, Carefully Managed
When medication is part of your teen’s treatment plan, it’s managed thoughtfully by our board-certified psychiatric team — evaluated, monitored, and adjusted in coordination with therapy.
More Than Therapy. Real Engagement.
Art therapy, recreational therapy, adventure therapy, and physical mentorship give teens healthy outlets to process, grow, and reconnect with themselves.
Specialized Care for Eating Disorders
Silver State is one of the few adolescent programs equipped to treat eating disorders alongside mental health and substance use.
Crisis Intervention & Prevention Services
If your teen is in crisis right now, you don’t have to wait for things to stabilize before calling. Our team is trained in crisis intervention and prevention, and our admissions process is designed to move quickly when a teen’s safety is on the line.
We believe adolescent treatment should feel like a turning point, not a dead end. Our clinical team works, alongside your family to build a treatment plan that honors your teen’s story, not just their diagnosis.
Silver State Youth Academy
One of the biggest fears parents have about residential treatment is what happens to their teen’s education. At Silver State Youth Academy, that’s not a concern you have to carry.
Our fully licensed, accredited on-site academy means your teen continues earning credits, advancing grade levels, and keeping pace academically, without ever leaving the therapeutic environment they need.
The Academy is led by a U.S. Army veteran, licensed educator, and certified boxing coach with a background training youth athletes at the Junior Olympics level.
His approach brings something most classrooms never offer: discipline, mentorship, and the kind of consistent adult presence that struggling teens rarely get enough of.
Academic progress here isn’t just about credits. It’s about rebuilding confidence, structure, and a belief that the future is still worth showing up for.

After trying two other treatment centers in the valley, we were hesitant to get our hopes up—but Silver State truly made a difference for our teen and our family. While the beginning was rough (as any parent in this situation knows, progress isn’t instant), the staff at Silver State showed patience, consistency, and a deep understanding of how to meet each patient where they are & what they need.
What stood out most was how they paced the process to match what my kid could handle, rather than pushing him too fast or expecting immediate change. The team genuinely shows they care—not just in words, but through their actions. From intake coordinator to support staff, everyone treated our family with respect and compassion.
Silver State also makes sure families are involved in the process, which helped us feel more empowered and better equipped to support our teen. The hands-on approach to family communication and guidance was something we didn’t experience elsewhere.
We’re incredibly grateful for the growth we’ve seen in our kid and finally feel like we’re on a hopeful path forward. Silver State gave us that chance—and for that, we’re truly thankful.
Special BIG thank you to Ari, Russ & Katie!

Virtue Recovery Centers in Las Vegas offering every level of care to help those in need, to include substance use and eating disorders. 3 beautiful facilities with knowledgeable, caring, compassionate and dedicated staff who truly care. Medical, clinical, operational and dietary teams work together for the most positive outcomes. The Alumni program is beyond anything I have ever seen, offering support and encouragement after discharge for as long as needed. The facilities are beautiful, welcoming, and well maintained. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The housekeeping staff is exceptional, and the food is incredible! Come take a tour and see for yourself. I would not send my loved ones anywhere else.

I came here when this facility was new and had both eating disorder and substance abuse treatments! I stayed for three months and was only ever treated with kindness; the staff helped remind me why I was trying to recover every day. I had many medical issues while at Robindale along with my other disabilities, they always accommodated me and helped me seek higher levels of care when needed! (Including and emergency stay to remove my appendix!) The kitchen staff is truly amazing! I have severe food anxiety due to severe celiac disease and I panic when others prepare my meals, the staff not only sat down with me and let me read every ingredient they used but I was also taken back into the kitchen to see where and how my meals were prepared! They even had a separate pan and cooking utensils specifically for my food and are VERY educated on celiac disease. Thanks to the amazing staff I’ve now been in recovery from anorexia for over a year! There is also an amazing alumni group that meets on zoom every week and if it wasn’t for their support I probably would have relapsed multiple times by now. Thank you Virtue!!
Should I ever need help again, (fingers crossed I don’t!), I would choose Virtue all over again!

My experience has been amazing. I can’t pick one employee that stands out, I am going to tell you about a few that stood out to me..
Bruce- uplifting, motivating, encouraging.. even when I wasn’t feeling well, he still encouraged me each day.
Bobby B- that’s BIG DOG!! I really appreciate his energy, his genuine care for each client, and making me feel good each day.
Rob!!!! He checked on me, walked with me, and reminded me why I was doing this…we are all the same even though we were at different walks of life.
Miss Stacey, great counselor, motivator, encourager.
Diana- sat with me, encouraged me to stay when I wanted to leave.
Nurse Cathy- she is kind, gentle, compassionate and really cares about each client and their individual needs.
Doctors were amazing and helped me with my detox from opiates. They didn’t judge even when my detox took a lot longer than usual.
Thank you for those of you I left out… I can’t forget the amazing chef: I am vegetarian and dairy-free and she met all my needs and then some. I gained a few pounds and feel great!!
Thanks again!

I was one of the first patients here at Virtue Recovery Center Las Vegas, and boy do I have so much I could say. I was at virtue from April until July and while it felt like forever, I feel so honored to have had that opportunity. The staff that was there was bar none some of the most supportive and compassionate people I’ve ever met. I have been in facilities before and this has been the best experience I have had. Each time I have someone who is struggling in my life with substance abuse or an eating disorder, this program is the first thing that comes to mind. I still attend weekly meetings for alumni that they offer in order to stay in touch and maintain a positive support system. The thing that I loved most about the program was that you had to get better for you, and at your own pace. I was able to take my time to really work through everything I needed to. Tara the dietician was the most lovely character, you could tell just how much she loved her job. She was so gentle and understanding, encouraging and well informed and I credit her to saving my life. The Techs Heather, Leti, Yvonne, Brian, and Patricia have each still made a mark in my recovery. I think of them often and I hope they know how much of a difference they made in my time there. The kitchen staff, Scott, Amber, and mama bear were all talented individuals and catered to my dietary needs. They challenged me in the best ways possible. Each meal here was a genuine treat and often when I speak with other graduates they are so frustrated they are missing out on their cooking now in the real world. The groups were all very interesting and while theyre repetitive, it is partially because I was there for so long. Despite my lengthy stay, I think I learned something every single day that I was there. For anyone going in, you get out of it what you put into it. For the family and friends of those who are going or who are there, rest assured they are in safe hands and its an amazing program. Thank you virtue recovery center from top down, medical staff, clinical staff, counselors, instructors, and every person who is apart of this process. On top of all of this I also wanted to touch on the cleanliness of the facility. They worked everyday, fresh towels each day, they do your laundry, they do a fantastic job taking care of the grounds and our belongings. The admin was fantastic as well, my case worker had the most memorable personality and I quote her nearly every day (no means I love you). They will bend over backwards to provide people with whatever opportunities they can, getting people jobs, clothes, homes, networking for support, finding meetings and sponsors. If you ask, and its within their abilities, they will deliver. Overall, helpful therapy…helpful food, helpful home, and lifelong friendships. I am over 7 months behavior free and clean and I am so thankful for virtue.

Virtue is a new and amazing substance use treatment center in the south of the Las Vegas valley. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the welcome I received was amazing. Not to mention the food is great! Treatment for substance abuse tough but care doesn’t have to be and Virtue is showing up and showing out for the community!
Lorell Williams

Yes. Silver State accepts both male and female adolescents ages 11–17. Our program is also LGBTQ+ affirming, and every teen who enters our doors is treated with dignity, respect, and care that honors who they are.
Silver State provides medical stabilization and works closely with detox partners to ensure teens are medically safe before beginning the residential program. Our Director of Nursing and board-certified psychiatric team oversee the medical side of early treatment, including withdrawal management and medication support, so your teen’s physical stability is never a secondary concern.
If your teen has been through outpatient therapy, a hospital stay, or another program without lasting results, or if their safety is an active concern, residential treatment is likely the appropriate next step.
Residential care provides the level of structure, supervision, and clinical intensity that outpatient settings simply can’t offer.
If you’re unsure, call our admissions team. We’ll ask the right questions and give you an honest answer, even if that answer is that a different level of care is the better fit right now.
Yes. Families travel from across the country to access Silver State’s level of specialized adolescent care. Our admissions team can walk you through the logistics of out-of-state placement, insurance verification, and what the transition into the program looks like so your family feels prepared before your teen arrives.
Substance use in adolescents is rarely just about the substances. Our clinical team treats addiction as part of a larger picture, identifying the mental health conditions, trauma, and behavioral patterns driving the use and addressing all of it simultaneously. Individual therapy, group therapy, family involvement, and evidence-based modalities like CBT and DBT are all part of how we approach addiction treatment for teens.
